NBC Environment provides environmental planning, ecology services and sustainable, environmentally responsible bird and pest solutions throughout the UK. NBC Environment, was founded by Managing Director John Dickson with a Prince’s Trust Grant in 1993 as NBC Bird Solutions. As the change in branding would suggest, the business has since grown to become one of the most successful independent environmental consultancies in the UK. This position was bolstered by the strategic merger with Blackdown Environmental, now a wholly-owned NBC Environment company, in January 2017. Blackdown offers ecological consultancy and environmental contracting to support the rural economy. Working in partnership with customers, NBC remains true to its original values providing strategic environmental planning integrated with sustainable ecology, bird and pest solutions. NBC’s services have been developed to remove the risk of nature adversely impacting upon commercial activities by delivering comprehensive business protection. It works with clients in sectors such as facilities management, health and safety, construction and property management, and much more, to ensure their working environments remain hazard free and compliant.
