Hog roasting, traditionally, has been enjoyed at events and cultural celebrations all across the world for centuries. It comes in many forms, but the typical version that we have enjoyed here in the UK puts a whole pig atop a spit and allows it to slowly turn and roast over many hours until it comes to perfect bronze texturing, dripping with delicious tender meatiness and crispy roast goodness. That classic image of the hog roast is perhaps a little difficult to recreate for every event. It takes a lot of time, effort, and space to set up, which for most modern events is just not going to be feasible. At Hog Roast Congleton we still wanted to bring this most brilliant of dining practices to the modern event, so we have created a safe and more mobile version of the traditional hog roast.
